 Nigel
Harley - Director
The Company was formed by Director Nigel Harley
in 2004, following a successful period as a consultant
specialising in health and safety and food safety
in a wide range of settings. He is a Member of
the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
(CIEH), the Institution of Occupational Safety
and Health (IOSH) and is a Registered Safety
Practitioner.
Nigel studied microbiology to degree level before
specialising in food safety and qualifying as
an Environmental Health Officer in 1993. In this
role he gained a detailed knowledge of food safety
and health and safety legislation and best practice
in a wide range of work environments, including
hotel and catering, residential and nursing care,
manufacturing, and retail sectors.
This experience has been valuable during work
as a freelance consultant, and Nigel has worked
closely with clients in the development of health
and safety and food safety management systems,
risk assessment work, training, and problem solving.
Associates
Our Associates are qualified and experienced
specialists in Health and Safety and Food Safety,
and are members of Professional Institutions
including IOSH and CIEH. They understand the
problems encountered by business and the importance
of working closely with business to develop genuine
improvements in safety which cannot be achieved
by documentation and assessment of risk alone.
